- This is a great resource to see if you have been understanding and retaining information. As we go through the material, use this guide to see if you are understanding what we are doing. We will all start off as rookies as much of the material is new to us. As we progress, we hope that you will be able to check off the "getting it" box. Once completed, the goal is for everyone to become experts in that area. -As we progress throughout the year, go back to earlier topics and see if you still remember the information. This will help serve as a review sheet and keep information available to us. - Parents: this is a great tool for you to use to monitor your child's learning. It can serve as a discussion piece to see if your child is understanding and learning at a high level. It also serves as a guide to help you follow along we we progress throughout the year. Evidence Log (←Click) - This is a great tool to use in order to see what you don't know. Many times we don't know what we don't know- this will help pinpoint what it is that we are struggling with. For each topic and/or vocabulary sheet, we can identify the words/topics/concepts that we are struggling with. With some added attention to those areas- whether it be through looking back at notes, reading the textbook, finding additional videos, or research- we can make those weaknesses strengths. Once that occurs, we can check off that we have mastered the material. If we have mastered the material, there will be evidence to justify that statement- test or quiz scores, vocabulary grades, project scores, exit ticket/QOTD answers- and we will need to record that under the "evidence" section. |
